Training Guides

See below for the 2024 Northland LOA Training Guides. Not all training guides are posted yet; links will become active as the training guides are ready.

If you have never been certified and worked paid boys lacrosse games before, you want the Level 0.5 and 1.0 Training Guide. If you aren’t sure which training guide is right for you, contact lacrosse@yourassignment.net.

Also, please notify lacrosse@yourassignment.net if there are any issues with the training guide that you can’t figure out.

• Level 0.5 and 1.0 Training Guide (for anyone who has not previously completed boys lacrosse officials training and worked games)
• Level 1 Recert and Level 1.5 Training Guide (for returning officials who are not doing Level 2.0)
• Level 2.0 Training Guide (for all returning officials who are 18 or will turn 18 by summer and who have not previously completed Level 2 Training; also for people who completed Level 2 in a pervious year but who are not doing Level 3.0, although most people move to 3.0 after one year at Level 2.0)
• Level 3.0 (MSHSL) Training Guide (for all officials who have completed Level 2.0 this year or in a prior year and who plan to work MSHSL varsity)
• Level 4.0 (College) Training (This isnot yet updated for 2025. Returning Level 4.0 officials should follow the Level 3.0 Training Guide for now. There is an application process for new officials wanting to work Level 4 games, but anyone interested can complete the training.)
